Partners in Population and Development Africa Regional Office (PPD ARO) jointly with Women Deliver organised a High Level Panel on “Enhancing Women and Girls’ Health in the post-2015 Development Framework”. The High Level Panel was held on May 28, 2013 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia.
This High Level Panel served as a platform for advocacy by governments for ensuring that the health and rights of women and girls remain top priorities now, and for decades to come. The High Level Panel also provided a forum for highlighting success stories as well as challenges and opportunities for advancing the health and rights of women and girls. The Panel further provided an opportunity to prioritize the health and rights of women and girls in the post- 2015 development framework including their participation in socio-economic development.
The High Level Panel was moderated by Ms. Elizabeth Lule of the World Bank
