The Partners in Population and Development (PPD), in collaboration with the UNFPA, held an essay contest, a call for concept notes and a photography competition from November 5, 2022 to November 30, 2022.

We have received an enthusiastic response from young people across the Global South,  including countries such as Gambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Malawi, China, South Africa and others.

A webinar titled, “Engaging Youth: Curating Innovative Solutions to Push Forward the ICPD Agenda and SDGs” will be held at 9.00 am (GMT), on December 21, 2022, featuring the young people who have excelled in these competitions.

In addition, the top 25 photos curated from the photography competition will be showcased in a virtual exhibition on December 21 – December 22, 2022.
